Confidence that votes will be counted climbs by age, while confidence that every citizen can vote barely moves

• 'Trust that votes will be counted rises with age. The share who are “very confident” goes from 35% of 18–29s to 58% of 65+. Adding “somewhat confident” gives the same climb: 79% → 84% → 85% → 90%.
• 'Trust that every eligible citizen can vote stays flat across ages. “Very confident” runs from 34% to 41% in every group, and seniors (37%) sit below 30–64.
• 'The gap between the two questions grows with age. Young adults rate the two about the same (+1 pt). People 65+ are 21 points more confident their vote will be counted than that everyone who wants to vote can. Their doubt is about whether people can get to vote, not about the count.
• '18–29s are the least confident on both questions. They also have the largest “not at all confident” share on each: 7% and 8%.
